How much fuel will decrease really depends on several factors:
Driver behavior.
Weather conditions.
Condition and tire size.
Tips for a fuel-saving driving style:
Always watch out for the correct tire pressure (refer to manufacturer’s data).
Damaged tires require more fuel. Renew your tires in good time, normally every two years.
Extremely high or low temperatures affect the driving properties and thus the fuel consumption too. Rain, snow, and hot asphalt also significantly affect fuel consumption.
Drive at low speed. Do not unnecessarily push your engine at high revs.
Drive with foresight. Avoid unnecessary acceleration in the event of a traffic jam or at a red light.
Switch off the engine if you expect more than two minutes.
